Michgan DNR is Clear Cutting the Allegan County Game Reserve and Not Replanting - See Below

116th Street just west of 46th Street - Both sides of the street have been clear cut except for an area close to the street so that people will not notice when they are driving down the street. Top picture shows the southern area to be clear cut with close ups. The bottom picture shows that the clear cutting is widwspread. Close up pictures are below.

Below is the turn around area logging trucks used to take logs out of the game reserve off of 116th Street.

Above is a picture of a small lake just west of the Ranger’s station on 118th Street on the south side of the street. Notice how nice all the trees are around the lake when you look at it from the access path. Below is a Google Earth shot of the southern part of the lake. Notice trees all around the edge. The trees have no leaves on them. South of the small section of trees, they had it completely clear cut, except for an occasional tree.
